Soulfood Himbeer-Kokos Bowl

Soulfood Raspberry-Coconut Bowl

This creamy raspberry-coconut smoothie bowl is the ideal breakfast or snack for anyone who likes it light, healthy, and delicious. The combination of frozen banana, juicy raspberries, and aromatic tiger nut protein porridge not only adds color to the bowl but also an extra boost of nutrients. Quickly blended, beautifully topped – and simply delicious!

Lung (Wind Constitution)

Tendencies: nervous, restless, sensitive to cold, dry skin

Effect of the Bowl:
This smoothie bowl contains cooling ingredients (raspberries, banana, coconut) and raw, cold foods, which may further aggravate Lung – especially if prepared from the refrigerator or with frozen fruit.
Recommendation: For Lung types, the bowl should be enjoyed not too cold – e.g., prepared at room temperature or with slightly warmed plant milk. Adding a little cinnamon, ginger, or cardamom can help create a warming balance.

Tripa (Fire Constitution)

Tendencies: hot, temperamental, easily irritable, prone to inflammation

Effect of the Bowl:
The recipe has a cooling and balancing effect – ideal for Tripa types. The raspberries, banana, and coconut milk soothe the fiery Tripa system and help dissipate excess heat.
Recommendation: Perfect for warm days and Tripa balance – avoid any added sugar to prevent promoting internal heat.

Beken (Phlegm Constitution)

Tendencies: heavy, sluggish, sensitive to cold and dampness, prone to weak digestion

Effect of the Bowl:
The bowl contains many cooling and moist elements (banana, raspberries, coconut), which may aggravate Beken. The consistency is soft and raw, which could strain digestion.
Recommendation: For Beken types, it is better to warm the bowl slightly, add spices such as ginger, cinnamon, or turmeric (jamuMAGIC), and enjoy it at lunch rather than for breakfast.

Note: All three energies – Lung, Tripa, and Beken – are at work in each of us, although their expression varies from person to person. If Tripa is particularly pronounced, for example, the diet should focus primarily on balancing it. If two energies are elevated, attention should be paid to both balancing the elevated energies and strengthening the weakened energy.
This is the heart of Tibetan medicine: The fine intuition of how we can remain in energetic balance and good health in the long term through mindful eating and living.
