This light, summery dish combines creamy burrata with juicy tomatoes and a refined dressing of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon, honey, and mustard. A pinch of the aromatic organic sprout mix keimkraft:WURZELWERK adds the finishing touch, providing extra bite and nutrients. Ideal as a starter, light lunch, or Mediterranean snack with fresh baguette. Easy to prepare, but guaranteed to be a highlight!
Lung (Wind Principle)
Effect:
This dish has a wonderfully stabilizing effect on Lung types. The oily burrata, nourishing olive oil, and slightly sweet WURZELWERK bring warmth, grounding, and moisture – perfect for inner restlessness, nervousness, or dryness.
Lung types can fully enjoy this dish – ideally with some warm baguette and, if desired, additional mild, warming spices such as cumin or turmeric. (Optional: a pinch of jamu:MAGIC)
Tripa (Fire Principle)
Effect:
The cooling nature of burrata and tomato helps balance Tripa heat, especially in summer. The bitterness of the balsamic vinegar supports balance, but lemon juice and mustard should be used sparingly to avoid excessive warming. Tripa types benefit particularly from this recipe – especially when it is seasoned to be refreshing and not too tart. Optionally add basil.
Beken (Phlegm Principle)
Effect:
The classic version with burrata is likely too heavy, cooling, and phlegm-inducing for Beken types. Caution is advised, especially in cases of weak digestion, fatigue, or sluggishness.
Replace the burrata with feta or seasoned, fried tofu. Use a little more lemon juice and mustard, and serve the dish slightly warmed or at room temperature. Fresh herbs and spices such as pepper, ginger, or chili also help to get the Beken energy moving. (Optional: use keimkraft:CHILI KICK as a topping)
Note: All three energies – Lung, Tripa, and Beken – are present in everyone, although their individual expression varies. For example, if Tripa is particularly pronounced, the diet should focus primarily on balancing it. If two energies are elevated, attention should be paid to both balancing the elevated energies and strengthening the weakened energy.
This is the heart of Tibetan medicine: The fine-tuned awareness of how we can remain energetically balanced and healthy in the long term through mindful eating and living.
