Effect on the 3 Tibetan constitutions

  • Lung (Wind type):
Warm, oily, and nourishing – generally has a balancing effect. Spices and serving warm additionally support Lung.
  • Tripa (Fire type):
Can have a slightly heating effect due to frying and spices – therefore enjoy with mild spices and not fried too heavily.
  • Beken (Earth/Water type):
Rather heavy and oily, can increase Beken. Best combined in small quantities with a light side dish (e.g., salad).
