Ingredients for 2 servings
- 250 g plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp chia seeds
- 60 ml strong espresso, cooled
- 1–2 tsp maple syrup or JOY date, to taste
- ½ tsp vanilla
- 1–2 tsp JOY Naturals mushroom, optional instead of cocoa
- 1 small pinch of JOY Naturals morning for sprinkling
Optional
- a little extra espresso for a more intense coffee flavor
- a few cacao nibs for some crunch
How to make it
-
Prepare the chia-espresso:
Mix the chia seeds with the cooled espresso and let them soak for about 5–10 minutes. Stir well again in the meantime to prevent any lumps from forming. -
Prepare the yogurt cream:
Mix the Greek yogurt with maple syrup or date sugar and vanilla until smooth and creamy. -
Combine everything:
Stir the espresso-chia mixture into the yogurt cream. For a particularly smooth cream, mix thoroughly again. -
Shape it:
Divide the mixture between two small glasses or dessert cups. Alternatively, fill small serving rings and smooth lightly. -
Chill overnight:
Cover and let firm in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours, preferably overnight. -
JOY finish:
Before serving, optionally dust finely with mushroom instead of classic cocoa powder. Then sprinkle a small pinch of morning over it.
JOY tip
For a particularly fine tiramisu look, fill the cream into small serving rings and only remove it from the mold shortly before enjoying.
If you want the coffee to be a little milder, you can dilute the espresso with a small splash of plant-based or almond drink. For a plant-based version, simply use a creamy unsweetened plant-based yogurt.
